YFCA commenced house rehabilitation in Al‑Mudhafar District, Taiz, in August under the Hilton‑funded project “Provision of durable solutions through comprehensive shelter and education interventions,” using a cash‑for‑shelter modality so conflict‑affected families can address priority repairs with daily engineer oversight. The activity follows a three‑phase plan; Phase 1 has been completed and current works advance Phase 2 to restore safe and dignified shelter conditions while engaging the community. Integrating shelter, education, and DRR supports safer living and learning environments across Taiz, with cash enabling timely local procurement and quality assurance through field supervision.
