Tuesday, 04 November, 2025

YFCA conducted a two-day learning event focused on risk management and stakeholder engagement. This event, held on November 2-3, 2025, in Aden, marked a significant step in enhancing the capacities of local humanitarian organizations.
Under the project titled “Humanitarian System Transformation through Local Humanitarian Leadership,” the learning event brought together over 14 local and women-led organizations, along with representatives from the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. The primary goal was to develop a more risk-informed and safer humanitarian system in Yemen.
Participants engaged in hands-on training sessions that utilized a multi-stakeholder risk assessment and analysis framework. This innovative approach aimed to strengthen the understanding and application of risk-sharing methodologies among various stakeholders in the humanitarian sector.
YFCA is committed to fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing, ensuring that local organizations are equipped with the necessary tools and insights to navigate the complexities of humanitarian work in Yemen. The event is part of a broader initiative to improve risk management practices and will be repeated next year to continue building on this vital knowledge.
