YFCA Distributes Cash Plus for Income-Generating Activities in Yemen
Thursday, 27 November, 2025

YFCA successfully carried out the third round of the distribution of Cash Plus Transfers aimed at strengthening income-generating and agricultural initiatives across several communities in Yemen. This latest effort specifically benefits 290 individuals and households across Al Dhale’e City and Al Shuaib Districts of Al Dhale'e Governorate, as well as Bayhan and Mayfa’a Districts in Shabwah Governorate.

This activity represents the second round of assistance in the third year of the broader BRIGHTLY Project — “Building Resilience through Integrated Community-Based and Humanitarian Systems Transformation and Leadership in Yemen”, implemented with support from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

The Cash Plus approach integrates financial support with capacity-building initiatives, enabling participants to launch or expand small ventures and agricultural enterprises. By doing so, the project not only provides immediate relief but also promotes long-term economic stability and self-reliance among vulnerable households.

Through its community-centered approach, the BRIGHTLY Project continues to foster resilience and sustainable development amid ongoing challenges. By investing in livelihood opportunities, YFCA and its partners aim to empower communities, enhance local productivity, and pave the way toward a more stable and self-sufficient future for families across Yemen.
