Thursday, 31 July, 2025

YFCA organized a vital training session for members of the Community Action Groups (CAGs) in the Aldhulai’a and Yab'uth districts of Hadhramaut. This initiative, part of the Accelerating Food Security in Yemen (AFSY) project, aimed to enhance the capabilities of CAG members in managing cash-for-work activities, thereby strengthening their role in community development.
The training focused on equipping participants with essential skills to effectively supervise beneficiaries, ensuring fair and transparent registration and support. It also provided a platform for participants to exchange experiences and best practices, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Through interactive discussions and case studies, attendees engaged in practical exercises aligned with the objectives of the AFSY project, in partnership with Mercy Corps. This workshop aimed not only to boost individual competencies but also to enhance the overall capacity of CAGs in implementing successful cash-for-work interventions.
The training underscores YFCA's commitment to promoting sustainable food security in Yemen through collaboration and community empowerment.
This initiative exemplifies the dedication and resilience of community members in Yemen and highlights the positive impact of international collaboration on local development.
