YFCA launched a Vocational Training Program under the Building Resilience through Integrated Community-Based and Humanitarian Systems Transformation and Leadership in Yemen (BRIGHTLY) Project, in collaboration with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). This initiative aims to strengthen economic resilience and improve livelihoods for vulnerable communities throughout Yemen.
The program offers comprehensive training in several fields, including sewing, mobile phone maintenance, solar power and electrical installation, car electricity, and pastry making. Targeting 168 beneficiaries from Al-Dhale’e and Al-Shuaib Districts in Al-Dhale’e Governorate, as well as Maifa’ah and Bayhan Districts in Shabwah Governorate, YFCA aims to equip participants with practical skills that will enhance their employability and foster self-employment opportunities.
This vocational training represents a significant component of YFCA’s ongoing commitment to empowering local communities. By addressing immediate economic needs, the program not only supports individuals in generating sustainable income but also contributes to restoring long-term stability within the region.
