YFCA inaugurated a Safe Space for Women and Children under the Provision of integrated lifesaving assistance in 6 sectors to the IDPs and the most vulnerable groups in Ad Dali' Governorate, project, supported by YHF, providing a sanctuary that provide comfort and emotional support for families who have endured years of hardship.
Within this safe and welcoming space, children are given opportunities to play, learn, and express themselves freely through recreational, educational, and other activities. These activities helped reduce stress and strengthen their confidence and develop essential skills.
Women attending the Safe Space benefit from psychosocial support sessions that create a protected environment for dialogue, sharing, and emotional expression. YFCA prioritizes privacy and addresses the individual needs of women in a respectful and supportive atmosphere.
Among the activities offered in the Safe Space are psychosocial support sessions for both women and children, awareness and protection sessions, along with educational and recreational pursuits. This initiative reflects YFCA’s commitment to enhancing protection services and providing safe, supportive spaces for crisis-affected communities.
