Sunday, 07 December, 2025

YFCA implemented the Integrated Essential Health and Nutrition Services Project for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and the most vulnerable communities in Al-Waziyah District of Taiz Gov. This project, generously funded by Concern Worldwide, aimed to improve access to primary health care services for the most vulnerable groups, particularly mothers and children.
This ongoing intervention focused on enhancing the capacity of affected health facilities and communities by providing a comprehensive range of essential health and nutrition services. YFCA was committed to ensuring that these services reached those in greatest need while community awareness activities led by dedicated community health volunteers (CHVs) promoted health and nutrition education among families and local communities.
The impact of these efforts was evident in the continued success of the program, reflecting YFCA's dedication to creating sustainable improvements in the lives of beneficiaries. By upholding the values of humanitarian work that prioritize health and dignity, YFCA remained steadfast in its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities in Taiz Gov.
