YFCA engaged a dedicated team of six community volunteers in the Marib City district, Marib Governorate. Nominated by the Executive Unit for IDPs, these volunteers are committed to championing education within vulnerable communities.
This initiative is part of the YHF-funded project, "Provision of essential life-saving and life-sustaining multisectoral support." The volunteers conduct regular awareness sessions and outreach activities aimed at actively involving parents and community members.
As of the end of November 2025, they have successfully conducted 96 sessions, reaching 192 households. The primary goal of these efforts is to foster active parental participation and community support for children's education. Additionally, they promote newly established learning spaces that are designed to be safe, inclusive, and welcoming for all students.
YFCA's commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for children underscores the significance of community involvement in addressing the challenges faced by IDPs. Through these initiatives, we strive to build a brighter, more sustainable future for the children of Marib.
