YFCA Enhances Living Conditions for IDP Families with Transitional Shelters in Marib City
Saturday, 29 November, 2025

YFCA completed the provision of 124 transitional shelters for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Marib City district, Marib Governorate. This initiative, part of the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF) project #34086, focuses on enhancing the living conditions of vulnerable communities.
In November 2025, YFCA implemented the project in close coordination with the Marib Sub-National Shelter Cluster and local authorities, ensuring that the shelters met crucial standards of quality, cultural acceptability, and durability. These shelters are designed to provide thermal comfort and ventilation, utilizing locally-sourced materials capable of withstanding challenging environmental conditions.
This intervention not only fulfills immediate shelter needs but also aligns with YFCA's commitment to sustainable and dignified living conditions for IDP families. By securing a safe environment, YFCA continues to support the resilience and stability of those affected by conflict and displacement.
