YFCA implemented comprehensive protection activities across six camps in Marib City District. This initiative is part of the project "Provision of Essential Life-Saving and Life-Sustaining Multisectoral Support to the Most Vulnerable Communities in Marib City and Khab Wa Ash Sha'f Districts," funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund (YHF).
YFCA executed a cash-for-protection intervention, providing tailored financial assistance of $225 to 300 vulnerable households within the camps. This support was allocated based on urgent needs identified through diligent case management practices.
By November 2025, YFCA successfully referred 141 critical protection cases to specialized multi-sectoral service providers, thereby enhancing the local referral system and ensuring timely access to essential services.
Additionally, YFCA's psychosocial support (PSS) program reached 408 beneficiaries, offering 125 individual sessions and engaging 283 participants in group sessions. These interventions were carefully structured to address the specific needs of the community, ensuring both relevance and effectiveness.
As part of its commitment to enhancing community resilience, YFCA continues to provide vital support to the most vulnerable populations in the region.
