YFCA, with support from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), implemented the greenhouse component in Bayhan District, Shabwah Governorate, as part of the Economic Integration and Market-Based Skills Development activity under the BRIGHTLY project.
The activity includes the supply and installation of greenhouse structures, installation of irrigation networks, provision of agricultural inputs, and practical training for beneficiaries on greenhouse management, operation, and maintenance, in addition to marketing their agricultural products.
A total of 20 beneficiaries are participating in this initiative, which aims to enhance agricultural productivity and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for vulnerable households in the district.
This intervention contributes to strengthening local food production systems, improving household incomes, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices within the community. Through this effort, YFCA continues to support community resilience and economic empowerment in Yemen.
