DKH team field visit to YFCA targeted districts in Shabwah Governorate

In the context of following up, monitoring and building the capacity of the partners, Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH) team has conducted field visits with Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) project team to current project activities sites in four districts (Bayhan, Ursaylan, Nisab and Jardan districts) of Shabwah governorate within the project of WASH and humanitarian food assistance for internally displaces people IDPs, host communities, returnees, and marginalized groups in six districts of Shabwah Governorate-Yemen, which is funded by the German Humanitarian Assistance (AA), and implemented by (YFCA) in partnership with (DKH). 

The duration of field visit lasted for two days, which included many visits to the project sites such as Nisab Downtwon water asset and Al-Hanka area (one of the cash for wori CFW activity sites) in Nisab district, Al-Shula area (one of the CFW activity sites) in Jardan district, Garban area (One of CFW activity sites), Al-Oulia1 and Al-Olia2 water assets in Bayhan district, and Al-Usayleia camp (one of the camps that was provided with water trucking) in Ursaylan district. Also, the DKH team met with the community committees and the beneficiaries of this project.

In addition, DKH team appreciated the project team's efforts to implement such activities in the most needed areas of Shabwah governorate reaching for the most vulnerable people, and provding them with needed assistance.
