Yemen Family Care Association provided cash assistance to 285 households in two districts of Shabwah Governorate, Yemen, to address food insecurity caused by constrained food production, supply and distribution, diminishing purchasing power, high food prices, and reduced household income. The assistance was provided through the Unconditional Cash Transfer activity, which is part of the WASH and humanitarian food assistance project funded by German Humanitarian Assistance in partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe. The activity aims to ensure households in targeted communities can meet their basic food needs and promote early action, response, and resilience.
