YFCA team, through the support of primary health care (PHCs) in Huraidhah and Rakhia districts of Hadhramaut Governorate, and funded by Muslim Aid UK, has just finished distributing 600 basic Hygiene kits (BHKs) at Huraidhah and Rakhia districts, Hadhramaut Governorate. Those beneficiaries who received the kits are children under five-year-old, and pregnant or lactating women who suffer from malnutrition, in addition to vulnerable people in the targeted areas. Moreover, basic hygiene kits (BHKs) contain 2 Kilograms of washing powder, 15 bars of hand washing soap, 6 packs of Sanitary pads, a Plastic Basin, and 2 Jerry cans; one with a 20 Ltr. capacity and the other with a 10 Ltr. capacity. The distribution of Basic hygiene kits encourages families to have a more hygienic lifestyle since hygiene is critical for preventing the spread of infectious diseases and helping people to have long healthy lives.
