Yemen Family Care Association (YFCA) was honored to host a visit to Al-Sabeen Hospital from high-level officials last Thursday, including the  UNFPA’s  Deputy Representative Mr. Hicham Nahro Reproductive Health Project Coordinator Mr. Wagdi Mohsen , and the Director for Neighborhood and Middle East of the European Union's Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO) Mr. Andreas Papaconstantinou.

During the visit, the officials had the opportunity to review the crucial healthcare services provided by YFCA and discuss the challenges facing the hospital, where YFCA operates. The officials acknowledged the crucial role that YFCA plays in providing essential healthcare services to the community, particularly in light of the ongoing healthcare crisis in Yemen.

The meeting provided an opportunity for YFCA to discuss the challenges it faces in providing healthcare services to the community, including the impact of the new incentive rate and medication shortages. The officials listened attentively and pledged to continue supporting YFCA's important work in the region.

The visit highlighted the importance of YFCA's work in supporting the healthcare needs of the community and the need for continued support to overcome the challenges faced by the healthcare system in Yemen. YFCA and its partners remain committed to providing essential services to those in need and ensuring that the community's healthcare needs are met.
