YFCA Conducts Capacity-Building Training for Assessing Shelter Needs in Al-Maton District

YFCA, in collaboration with Nabd Development and Evolution Organization (NDEO), recently conducted a training course to collect precise data on the shelter needs of households in the Al-Maton district in Aljawf governorate. The training is part of YFCA's project YHF#22804, which aims to provide sustainable shelter solutions for persons affected by protracted crises and returnees in Marib district in Marib, Al-Maton district in Aljawf, and  Almodhafar district in Taiz.
 
The course targeted four enumerators and four casuals and focused on raising awareness of the endorsed shelter cluster selection and vulnerability criteria. It presented practical examples and case studies to reinforce learning for the trainees and equipped them with the necessary skills to conduct a household shelter-specific needs assessment in Al-Maton district. By collecting accurate data, YFCA can gain precise information about the shelter needs of households in the area, which will enable the organization to reach out to those in need and enhance the overall quality of provided services .
 
This capacity-building activity is a significant step towards achieving YFCA's project goal of providing sustainable shelter solutions for persons affected by protracted crises and returnees in the region.
