YFCA organized a 4-day workshop in Al Mukalla District, Hadhramout Governorate, aimed at enhancing the education system and strengthening the capacities of educational staff. The workshop was attended by 25 participants, all of whom are teachers and school management personnel from diverse backgrounds, and was designed to equip participants with advanced knowledge and skills in the field of Education in Emergencies (EiE) and other pertinent areas as well as empower them with the necessary tools to better serve their students and communities, thereby contributing to the improvement of the overall standard of education in the region.
The training was inaugurated by the District Director and the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education's Office at the governorate level, who emphasized the significance of training the education staff to enhance their skills in carrying out their responsibilities with professionalism and expertise.
As a result of this workshop, the participants learned about emergency education response, including psychosocial support, and inclusion of children with disabilities while incorporating important considerations for marginalized and vulnerable groups.
It is worth mentioning that the workshop received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the participants, who expressed their appreciation for the valuable knowledge and skills they gained during the training. YFCA's efforts to enhance the education system in Al Mukalla District in Hadhramout Governorate are commendable, as the training conducted is going to have a significant impact on the education sector.
