YFCA in parternship with Muslim Aid, recently conducted two training courses for health workers in Haridah and Rakhyah districts of Hadramout Governorate, as part of its project of providing lifesaving healthcare services and personal hygiene promotion activities to the most vulnerable people in the area.
The first training course focused on Basic Life Support (BLS) and included 45 health workers from the targeted health facilities. The course covered topics such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management, bleeding control, and shock management.
The second training course focused on trauma management and included 16 health workers from the same facilities. The course covered topics such as trauma assessment, wound care, fracture management, and spinal immobilization.
The training courses have a primary objective of building and enhancing the capacities of health staff in targeted health facilities. By providing opportunities for healthcare professionals to improve their medical knowledge and skills, these courses play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to the community. Through this training, the YFCA aims to positively impact the lives of beneficiaries by equipping healthcare professionals with the necessary expertise
Capacity building and continuous improvement are integral to advancing healthcare services. The successful completion of the training courses represents a significant milestone in the YFCA's ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare and contribute to its sustainability. By investing in the development of local health workers, the YFCA aims to effectively address the needs of the community, even in challenging circumstances.
The YFCA's initiative to provide these training courses demonstrates their commitment to supporting healthcare professionals and enhancing their skill sets. Through continued collaboration and support, YFCA hopes to create a healthier, more resilient community for generations to come.
