YFCA launched “Cash for Work” activity in Bayhan District, Shabwah Governorate, as part of the  BRIGHTLY project funded by FCDO, to provide job opportunities and financial assistance to the local population, especially those who have been affected by economic challenges and conflicts. The activity involves engaging the community members in various projects and activities that contribute to the development and resilience of their area, such as environmental protection, infrastructure repair, food security, and disaster risk reduction. In exchange for their work, the participants receive cash payments that help them meet their basic needs and support their families. The activity’s overarching goals include promoting community collaboration, strengthening local capacities, and cultivating new avenues for employment and development within the community. YFCA remains steadfast in its commitment to maintaining a fair and transparent environment, ensuring that cash opportunities are offered in exchange for meaningful contributions and diligent work.
