 YFCA Implements Essential Trauma Healthcare Project in Marib Gov.

YFCA, funded by the World Health Organization, implemented a project “provision of essential trauma lifesaving health care services within the MSP package to people in need at Marib City and Marib Al Wadi districts of Marib governorate”. The project benefited 25,868 beneficiaries. As part of the project, YFCA provided the necessary support to healthcare facilities and medical staff in the area. It delivered medicines, medical supplies, and monthly incentives to twenty healthcare workers at Kara General Hospital and Marib General Hospital. It also supported two mobile emergency medical teams that provide services such as medical consultations, nutrition, vaccinations, and distribution of essential medicines to beneficiaries. It supplied the teams with the equipment, medicines, and medical supplies they needed and monthly incentives to twenty healthcare workers. Also, the association transported patients between field medical clinics and hospitals, and between specialized and general hospitals, and provided the necessary fuel for ambulances. This project aims to meet the critical healthcare needs of the communities and provide basic life-saving healthcare in cases of war trauma, accidents, and diseases.
