YFCA, in coordination with the local authorities, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MOSAL), and the Health Offices, conducted a two-day training for 59 healthcare workers in Ad Dali’ and Shabwah governorates. The training implemented is part of the Multi-sectoral Emergency Response to support IDPs and other vulnerable groups in Ad Dali’ and Shabwah Governorates, project funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (AA) in partnership with the Diakonie-Katastrophenhilfe (DKH).
The training aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of the healthcare workers on protection mainstreaming, principles, risks, and safe referral, as well as psychosocial support and community participation.
By empowering healthcare workers with the necessary skills and knowledge, this training program paves the way for more effective and efficient response efforts, ultimately improving the overall well-being and resilience of the communities in Ad Dali’ and Shabwah Governorates.
