Ad Dali’,
YFCA, in coordination with the health office in Ad Dali’ governorate, conducted a comprehensive health services initiative. Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (AA) and in partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH), this project aims to provide essential health services and free medical consultations at two key health facilities in the region.
The Alshuhadaa Althaltha Health Facility in Ash Shu’ayb district and the Maternity and Childcare Health Center in Al Azariq district are the primary beneficiaries of this intervention. These centers are now equipped with essential medicines, supplies, consumables, PPE kits, and medical equipment, thanks to the support from YFCA.
The project delivers the Minimum Service Package (MSP) of health services, which encompasses basic and emergency healthcare, child care, vaccinations, management of communicable and non-communicable diseases, early diagnosis, medical consultations, and pre-and post-natal care. In July 2024 alone, these centers provided services to 3,312 beneficiaries.
This initiative is part of a broader Multi-sectoral Emergency Response aimed at supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs) and other vulnerable groups in Ad Dali’ and Shabwah Governorates. The project aligns with the Yemeni Minimum Service Package (MSP) to ensure that lifesaving health services are accessible to those in need.
