Shabwah,– Under the BRIGHTLY Project, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), YFCA organized a specialized workshop aimed at Livelihood and Gender Focal Points from various NGOs, along with Local Authority representatives from the Shabwah and Adh Dhale’ Governorates.
The workshop, which focused on enhancing attitude skills and techniques, also provided crucial guidance on cultural practices relevant to the mobilization of women and persons with disabilities (PWD). This initiative aims to clarify and strengthen collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participants, addressing challenges and promoting best practices within their respective communities.
A total of 42 participants attended the training, with an equal representation of 21 attendees from both Shabwah and Adh Dhale’. The event served as a valuable platform for these key stakeholders to exchange insights and experiences, thereby strengthening their ability to address local norms and issues. The ultimate goal is to improve livelihoods within the regions’ vulnerable groups.
Participants left the workshop equipped with enhanced skills and a renewed commitment to fostering positive change within their communities. The BRIGHTLY Project continues to support such initiatives, aiming to create sustainable and inclusive development across Yemen.
