Al Azariq District, Ad Dali’ Governorate –

In a bid to combat the spread of cholera and provide essential support to the community, YFCA distributed cholera kits to 74 households. This initiative was conducted in close coordination with the Governorate Health Office (GHO) and the Diarrhea Treatment Center (DTC) at the De Al-Jalal Maternity and Childcare Health Center.

This activity is part of the ongoing project titled “Integrated and Multisectoral Health and WASH Rapid Response to Cholera Outbreak in Al Azariq District,” which is generously funded by Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH). The project aims to provide essential resources for the prevention, treatment, and containment of cholera cases in the community.

The primary objectives of this initiative are to:

•    Provide essential resources for the prevention, treatment, and containment of cholera cases.

•    Offer crucial support and healthcare resources to the local community.

•    Prevent and manage cholera cases in the region.

YFCA’s efforts are a vital part of the broader strategy to address the cholera outbreak and ensure the health and well-being of the residents in Al Azariq District.
