Al Azariq District, Ad Dali’ Governorate–

YFCA initiated a water trucking activity to support the Diarrhea Treatment Center (DTC) at the De Al-Jalal Maternity and Childcare Health Center. This initiative, carried out during July and August 2024, has successfully delivered 20,000 liters of water to the center.

This water trucking activity is part of the ongoing Integrated and Multisectoral Health and WASH Rapid Response to Cholera Outbreak project in Alazariq district, funded by Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH). The project aims to provide a reliable source of clean water to support patient care and treatment at the DTC, enhancing the center’s ability to deliver quality healthcare services, particularly for diarrheal diseases.

By ensuring access to clean water, the center is better equipped to address the needs of patients suffering from diarrheal diseases, ultimately contributing to improved health outcomes in the community.
