Ad Dalea and Shabwa Governorates –
YFCA launched a transformative training program as part of the BRIGHTLY Project, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The initiative aims to empower 138 participants in the Ad Dalea and Shabwa regions by utilizing the International Labour Organization's (ILO) "Generate Your Business" (GYB) curriculum.
The GYB training program focused on essential skills for selecting, planning, and managing small businesses. Over the course of three days, participants engaged in advanced adult training methodologies that encourage entrepreneurial self-assessment and facilitate the generation of viable business ideas. By guided participants through the selection of the most promising concepts, YFCA is laying the groundwork for the development of small and micro enterprises in these communities.
This training is considered a crucial step toward driving economic growth and fostering self-reliance. By equipping individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge, YFCA aims to help them create sustainable livelihoods.
The BRIGHTLY Project focuses on community development and empowerment, aiming to enhance local economies and improve the quality of life for residents. Through initiatives like this training program, YFCA is committed to creating opportunities for economic advancement and stability.
