YFCA made significant strides in public health by conducting hygiene promotion awareness sessions in Marib City and Khab Wa Ash Sha'f district in Aljawf Governorate. In May and June 2025, the organization implemented 160 sessions to empower residents with essential hygiene knowledge.

Maintaining personal and environmental hygiene is vital for health, especially in areas with limited access to clean water and sanitation. The sessions educated participants on key hygiene practices to prevent disease.

Led by 20 community hygiene volunteers, these sessions reached 1,898 attendees, including IDPs, marginalized communities, and returnees. Topics covered included cholera prevention, safe water storage, waste disposal, and hand washing.

The main goal was to raise awareness about hygiene and reduce disease incidence in targeted communities. YFCA remains committed to supporting vulnerable populations, ensuring healthier environments in Marib City and Khab Wa Ash Sha'f districts.
