YFCA Works with UNFPA to Boost Health Services in Hajjah
Wednesday, 30 July, 2025

YFCA launched an activity of providing life-saving health services in Abs and Khayran Al Muharraq districts of Hajjah governorate. Funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund, the project focused on the Al-Dan'i Health Center, which has served as a beacon of hope for many since March 2025. This center addressed the urgent needs of internally displaced persons and local communities, supporting 13 health workers with monthly incentives.
The project supplied essential medicines, medical supplies, and water trucking, ensuring effective operation. YFCA emphasizes that access to basic healthcare is a right, aiming to make that a reality for many families in distress.
Services offered included medical consultations, reproductive health care, vaccinations, and mental health support. These proved vital in a region facing the aftermath of conflict, addressing immediate health concerns while promoting long-term well-being. As the project progressed, YFCA remained committed to providing comprehensive interventions, making the Al-Dan'i Health Center a cornerstone of health and hope in Hajjah Governorate.
