YFCA launched a specialized entrepreneurship training program in Al-Dhale’e City, designed to empower 140 young men and women from vulnerable communities. The initiative aimed to enhance participants’ economic opportunities and provided them with the skills needed to establish small, income-generating enterprises.
The training, which took place from November 17 to 23, 2025, follows the “My Idea, My Project” curriculum—an intensive seven-day workshop that focused on key entrepreneurship competencies. Participants learned how to identify viable business opportunities, conduct market analyses, and develop comprehensive business plans. In addition, the program offered hands-on guidance in marketing, financial management, and innovation, encouraging trainees to design projects that respond to the unique needs of their local communities.
This initiative is part of YFCA’s broader Sustainable Livelihoods Project, supported by CRS, to promote economic development across Al-Dhale’e District while supporting self-reliance among local families.
Through efforts like this, YFCA reaffirms its commitment to cultivating entrepreneurial mindsets and advancing sustainable livelihood opportunities for youth. By equipping young people with knowledge, tools, and mentorship, YFCA seeks to build pathways toward a more resilient and prosperous future for Yemen’s communities.
